My favorite experience in fourth grade was making a quiz board. A quiz board is is when you pick a category and have big board. You put the category on the big board. When you match the right answers, a light bulb turns on.
One thing I learned....
One thing I learned in fourth grade was to make a circuit with a light bulb, a battery, and a few wires, and a battery and light bulb holder. First, I put the batteries and light bulb in the holders. Then I attached wires on the holders. After that, If the wires were attached right, it would light up.

My favorite unit of study was learning about the Midwest. I liked learning about the Midwest because there are a lot of cool things to do. You can got o the Mall of America, Wrigley Field, Black Hills, and Mount Rushmore.
One area in which I am most improved...
One area I most improved on in fourth grade is fractions. They were hard for me last year, but this year I got the hang of it. Its getting easier for me. My math teacher helped me a lot!
One thing of which I am most proud...
One thing I am most proud of is reaching my goals. Some goals I reached was to read a lot, and write better papers. Last year I did not like to read a lot, but this year I have read so many books like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Series of Unfortunate Events, and The Babysitter. I also was not good at writing papers. They were not that exciting, but I got better at it by practicing with writing lots of papers.
The best book I read in fourth grade was Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It is a series with three books. They are so funny, I laughed out loud, sometimes. Its about this boy named Greg Heffly. His mom got him a diary and he writes down, and draws pictures of embarrassing, and of weird stuff that happens to him. He has two brothers and a mom and dad. He has a really weird friend named Rowly.
One thing I plan to do this summer...
One thing I plan to do this summer is go to a sleep away camp. I went last year and had a blast! I met a ton of new friends. The activities were fun. I liked swimming, rock climbing wall, windsurfing, tennis, basket ball, and water skiing. I can't wait to go back to camp!
June makes me think of...
June makes me think of my birthday. My birthday is in June, so it makes me excited to get ready to celebrate. I always get excited to see my presents. I love having a birthday party because I like celebrating my birthday with my friends. I have lots of fun at every birthday party I had. Its great that My birthday is in the month of June because my birthday parties can be outside!
New grade feelings..
My new grade feelings when I was going into fourth grade was excited. I was excited to go to fourth grade because I saw all my friends in my class. I had so many friend in my class so that made me feel more happy. I was also nervous because I heard that fourth grade was hard and the teachers gave a lot of homework. When I got to the first week, I realized that there was not a lot of homework at all. I feel anxious to go into fifth grade because I wonder who my teacher is and who the new fifth grade teacher is because I wonder if the new teacher is nice. Every year I wonder who my teacher is, but this year I can't wait!
We can improve the school by...
We can improve the school by not taking the bus if you live close to school. Sometimes I see kids on my block go on the bus. I live really close to school. I walk to school unless it is raining, or very cold. If people can, they should carpool. Carpooling is good for the environment because it does not use a lot of gas. If nobody carpooled, more pollution would be sent into the air because a lot of people would drive their kids to school. That is why people should walk or carpool to school.
